The purpose of the Illinois Digital Government Summit is to foster discussion and dialogue on the use of information technology as a strategic tool for managers, executives and policy makers. Over 200+ state and local government executives and IT managers attended the event to discuss new technologies and best practices to address priority issues. Sean's presentation was the rationale behind the state’s Cloud First approach. It requires agencies to evaluate cloud options before committing to new IT or telecom investments.
