Description

The ICN provides a geographically diverse and redundant connection to the public Internet. Geographic; diversity and redundancy is enabled to multiple Internet gateways; ensuring an extremely high level of availability. Pricing is based on Mb of internet access required and is not based on geographic location of the Internet access point.

In most cases, Community Anchor Institutions (CAIs) are responsible for securing last mile transport service between their facility and the ICN backbone. Your Regional Technology Center (RTC) staff will facilitate this process and can provide a range of connectivity options, pricing and designs.
